'RuPaul's Drag Race' All Stars 3 Recap: The Return Of A Queen

This ain't no usual recap folks.

Last nights 'RuPaul's Drag Race' All Stars 3 delivered quite possibly the biggest shock in the shows run, so that's pretty much what we're going to talk about.

Everyone knew this episode of 'Drag Race' was going to give us a returning queen, but what we didn't know of course, is how it would play out.

When the winning lip sync came down to Bebe Zahara Benet and (once again) Ben Delacreme, we found out that decision from Dela:

In a full story arc move, Dela brought first eliminated queen Morgan McMichaels back into the competition. But, the big shock was yet to come. Dela still had to eliminate a top All Star.....

With a smile on her face, Dela simply said:

"This.....is the easiest choice I have had to make the entire season" and with that, Dela revealed she had written over the lipstick with whiteout, putting her own name.

"I'm going home".

As a 5 challenge winner, Dela sending herself home because she already felt like a winner, truly is one of the biggest gags of the series. I mean, just look at how Ru reacted. The other girls are of course shocked as well (save Thorgy, but I'll get to that) and it's a moment that leaves everyone stunned.

There was still a lot to unpack this episode, and I'll get to that shortly, but we have to marvel at what Dela accomplished. She truly turned the competition on its head by leaving. Who's the front runner? Shangela or Bebe make the most sense as they've bagged the most challenges next to Dela. What does this mean for Trixie? And how well can Morgan do?

I'm sure you ALL of opinions of Dela's exit, and I want to hear them all.

Let's look at the rest of the episode:

NOTES:

1. The big return moment, and the subsequent fighting was some of the best TV 'Drag Race' has ever produced. Shangela vs Thorgy vs Trixie, Kennedy vs Milk, Aja vs Bebe and Morgan vs Dela. One note I do want to make though, is how Chi Chi sat there through all of it and probably kept saying to herself "At least I didn't cause any shit". That's my Chi Chi.

2. The group performances were solid, but I truly thought we would have gotten a lip sync of two of the eliminated queens and they perform to return, ala Tatianna/Alyssa of 'All Stars 2'.

3. Thorgy's comments as Dela was leaving were gross and misguided.

4. Ru's reaction to Dela's announcement will go down in the record books.

5. Let's talk about Dela.

Some could call this as a show of disrespect. I can look at it two ways. One, she simply fulfilled everything she needed to coming back into the competition and realized she didn't need a win. This I can understand. The thought of sending someone else home was too much for her.

Now the flip side of that, was what Dela said in her exit piece.

The very last thing she said before leaving was she can't wait to see how the remaining queens do. She wants any of them to win, saying "I think the actual title is more important to them than it is to me".

THAT part comes across as ungrateful. Then why did you even come back to the show?

Let's hear from you guys.

What did you think?

"Designing Women" Revival In The Works At CBS

The legendary Dixie Carter is no longer with us.

THIS SHOULD NOT HAPPEN.

Not to mention the hilarious Meshach Taylor is no longer with us as well.

According to new reports, CBS is in early stages of bringing the classic sitcom "Designing Women" back for a revival.

It's been 25 years since the 7 season show wrapped, and one glimmer of hope in this news is that original series creator Linda Bloodworth-Thomason is behind it.

The series starred Carter, Taylor, Jean Smart, Annie Potts and 2 time Emmy nominee Delta Burke.

Never forget this iconic Dixie Carter scene.
