My Reaction To Golden Globe Nominations

It's that time of the year again:

The 75h Golden Globe Awards were announced yesterday, and as per every other year....

It was kind of bananas.

While most of the acting categories seemed to get things right (more on that shortly), there is quite a bit of backlash concerning the Best Director category.

The category went to all men:

Martin McDonagh (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri), Guillermo Del Toro (Shape of Water), Christopher Nolan (Dunkirk), Ridley Scott (All The Money in the World) and Steven Spielberg (The Post).

First off, we would argue that Jordan Peele should have been nominated for 'Get Out'. Hands down, that right there is a snub.

But what about Patty Jenkins for 'Wonder Woman'? Where's Great Gerwig for 'Lady Bird'? Where the HELL is Dee Rees for Netflix's 'Mudbound'??

Oh, that's right. They're all WOMEN.

Not a single woman was nominated for Best Director at this years Globes. What happens come Oscar time?

Let's leave this right here:

This better not be a sign of things to come.

Speaking of 'Get Out', thankfully Daniel Kaluuya was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Comedy/Musical, but what about his co-stars? Bradley Whitford, Catherine Keener and Allison Williams all delivered incredible performances that should have at least been recognized. The biggest snub of the film though comes from Betty Gabriel though, who played the maid Georgina. You all know she was bloody brilliant.

And don't even get me STARTED on 'Girls Trip' breakout star Tiffany Haddish getting ignored for her hilarious performance. I mean.....

Onto another movie that's getting a lot of chatter right now:

Ridley Scott's 'All The Money in the World'.

The film made headlines just 3 WEEKS AGO when Scott wanted to recast Kevin Spacey's role and found that in the legendary Christopher Plummer. Now, the film has been nominated for Best Actress in a Drama (Michelle Williams), Best Actor (Plummer) AND Best Director for Scott.

Maybe the movie is that good.....or maybe this is the HFPA giving the big ol' middle finger to Spacey?

Okay, so there you have it. My thoughts on this years Globes. Time will tell when the show airs on January 7th, with host Seth Meyers.

Madonna Delivers Brutal Truth During Billboard Honor

I've previously spoken out about this, but need to say more.

Madonna was honored by Billboard as Woman of the Year at last nights event, and when she took the stage....

She delivered a speech that EVERYONE needs to hear!!

Speaking out on the ageism, sexism, and controversy surrounding her legendary career, the Queen of Pop held nothing back.

Including some tears.

If this speech ever needed to be delivered, it was now.

Thank you Madonna.

Read her entire speech below:

"I stand before you as a doormat. Oh, I mean, as a female entertainer," Madonna said. "Thank you for acknowledging my ability to continue my career for 34 years in the face of blatant sexism and misogyny and constant bullying and relentless abuse."

Recalling her life as a teenager when she first moved to New York:

"People were dying of AIDS everywhere. It wasn’t safe to be gay, it wasn’t cool to be associated with the gay community," Madonna recalled. "It was …

WATCH: Britney Spears SLAYS Her Billboard Music Awards Medley!!

I haven't with me.

Britney Spears took the stage at tonight's Billboard Music Awards with a career-spanning medley, and girl didn't just bring it.....

Our favorite Louisiana girl brought the house down right out the gate, with a scorching performance that included 'Work Bitch', 'Womanizer' (THAT BREAKDOWN!!!),'I Love Rock N' Roll,  'Breathe On Me', 'Touch of my Hand', 'Slave 4 U' and of course, 'Toxic'.

What has to be mentioned is Brit's energy on stage. Her smile was back, she moved like the pro we all fell in love with, and it was FIRE from start to finish.

Check out the FULL performance below!!

And don't......oh DON'T.....ever forget this moment:

FIRST Teaser For Fox's 'Rocky Horror Picture Show'

I'm.....not sure what to say.

So, I'll leave it to all of you:

'Rocky Horror Picture Show' airs this fall on Fox.

"American Horror Story" Reveals Season 8 Title: "Apocalypse"

It's getting closer.....

With the 8th season of "American Horror Story" fast approaching (September 12th), it was only a matter of time before we got some new artwork and an official title.

And here it is:

"AHS: Apocalypse"!!!

The upcoming 8th season of the Ryan Murphy anthology series will once again star Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Cheyenne Jackson, Adina Porter, and Billie Lourd. Dame Joan Collins is also joining the cast.

This season is also the highly anticipated crossover of Murder House and Coven. It's very possible we'll be seeing Paulson and Peters reprising their roles, but it's also been confirmed that Evan will be playing a brand new character as well.

Seeing as the season is titled "Apocalypse", and there's a picture of a baby, one has to remember how Murder House concluded:

With Jessica Lange's character Constance caring for her demonic grandchild.

What are you guys hoping for?

Whoopi Goldberg Vs Jeanine Pirro: Watch "The View" Host Put Fox Host IN HER PLACE!!

Let's hope Jeanine learned the valuable lesson here:

You'll lose.
Judge Jeanine Pirro, host of Fox News, sat down with the ladies of "The View" yesterday, and to say things took a turn, would be an understatement.
While the conversation was certainly never going to be easy, things got ugly when Pirro insinuated moderator Whoopi Goldberg suffered from "Trump Derangement Syndrome".
And Whoopi fired back:

It's also being reported that following the on-air altercation, Goldberg and Pirro continued their argument backstage and Whoopi had Jeanine escorted from the building.
