Andrew Garfield: Says He's A Gay Man "Just Without The Physical Act"

I want to believe he meant well with this quote.....but.....

What a stupid thing to say.

While speaking about his portrayal in the new London play of 'Angels in America', Andrew Garfield's comments have gotten him into hot water.

“My only time off during rehearsals – every Sunday I would have eight friends over and we would just watch Ru,” he said, of course referring to to 'RuPaul’s Drag Race'

“This is my life outside of this play. I am a gay man right now just without the physical act – that’s all.”

He further explained “as far as I know, I am not a gay man,” but then went on to say he would be open to the possibility of a same-sex relationship.

“Maybe I’ll have an awakening later in my life, which I’m sure will be wonderful and I’ll get to explore that part of the garden,”

“But right now I’m secluded to my area, which is wonderful as well.”

This is GAY-BAITING. At it's finest.

And Andrew needs to apologize for these comments.
