'RuPaul's Drag Race' Recap - Gayest Ball Ever

Just a few more weeks left.

This weeks 'RuPaul's Drag Race' found our remaining queens preparing for the Gayest Ball Ever, with the main challenge being three focuses:

Rainbow realness, Unicorn realness, and finally....

Tribute to the Village People!!

The queens went straight to work (following Sasha's victory in the puppet challenge), because there was a lot to do.

Not only did they have to give 3 looks on the runway, they also had to perform a lip sync performance set to, what Ru called, the gayest Olympic sport ever:

Rhythmic gymnastics...... going to be interesting!!

And as expected, it poured into the workroom. For the first time this season, we saw some tension between She and Sasha following rehearsals for the lip sync. Were there cracks in their friendship?

And then that runway happened!!

Well, based off of everything we saw, Shea and Sasha owned it all, with Trinity faring pretty well as well.

It all led up to RuPaul asking the remaining queens who they thought should go home, and while Shea and Sasha picked Alexis, Peppermint and Trinity picked each other due to thinking they were competition.

It was time for the lip sync though.

Alexis and Peppermint wound up in the bottom 2, and lip syncing to The Village People's 'Macho Man', we got quite the different finale......

Mustaches, to wig reveals, they both brought it all, but ultimately it was Alexis who would need to sashay away.

We have our FINAL 4!!

What did you guys think?

  1. Am I the only person who thought Peppermint look like she had a beard when she was on the main stage? Contour and highlight were definitely off on this look.

Madonna Delivers Brutal Truth During Billboard Honor

I've previously spoken out about this, but need to say more.

Madonna was honored by Billboard as Woman of the Year at last nights event, and when she took the stage....

She delivered a speech that EVERYONE needs to hear!!

Speaking out on the ageism, sexism, and controversy surrounding her legendary career, the Queen of Pop held nothing back.

Including some tears.

If this speech ever needed to be delivered, it was now.

Thank you Madonna.

Read her entire speech below:

"I stand before you as a doormat. Oh, I mean, as a female entertainer," Madonna said. "Thank you for acknowledging my ability to continue my career for 34 years in the face of blatant sexism and misogyny and constant bullying and relentless abuse."

Recalling her life as a teenager when she first moved to New York:

"People were dying of AIDS everywhere. It wasn’t safe to be gay, it wasn’t cool to be associated with the gay community," Madonna recalled. "It was …

Troye Sivan has made his grand return, and he's got a massive pop smash on his hands!!

Serving as the lead single from his upcoming sophomore album, 'My My My' is a soaring pop number with Troye's signature vocals, and the accompanying music video helps hit it home.

What Troye has done since the release of his debut album, is unapologetically be himself. It's refreshing in today's climate.

Yours truly could not love this enough, and am even more excited for what he does next!!

What has to be mentioned is Brit's energy on stage. Her smile was back, she moved like the pro we all fell in love with, and it was FIRE from start to finish.
