Best & Worst Fashion: 2017 Met Gala

It was a night of FIERCE fashion, and we're going to make this clear right off the bat:

Only one star put in the work and showed up to the nights theme, but we'll get to that in our BEST dressed part.

The theme of this years Met Gala was Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons and if you want some look into what that should look like, search the collection online.

Instead of ranking them, we're just going to list the best and worst.

Now, let's take a look at our WORST dressed!!

Katy Perry

Now, did Perry stick with the theme? She sure did, and she gets props for that, but there's no loving this ensemble. Katy looks like Carrie at the prom, and that headpiece is a damn distraction. It also could have been done without the veil.

Lena Dunham

I need this woman to stay home for every awards show from now on.

The end.

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen

What did they do? Just empty their vintage trunks and roll around in what fell out?

No thank you.

Kim Kardashian West

Kim's attempt to look more subtle (no jewelry) may be the only thing we're applauding her for, because the dress is a snooze and it's obvious she took no attempt to match the theme.

Nobody else came close. Absolutely nobody. Rih put in her damn homework and DESTROYED the concept. The look was avant garde (the ACTUAL point) and looked absolutely stunning in the process. Best dressed. No question.

Tracee Ellis Ross

The Golden Globe winner, like Rih, committed to this years theme, actually wearing the collection based on the night. The fit of her Commes Des Garcons outfit was perfect and we're obsessed with that color.

Zoe Kravitz

The 'Big Little Lies' star looked like a million bucks in her Oscar de la Renta accentuated gown and that color is exquisite on her. The back of the gown is our favorite part, showing she did indeed keep in theme with the night.

Those are OUR picks for the BEST and WORST dressed for the night.

What were some of yours?
