While the judges played a game of musical chairs throughout 'American Idol's 15 seasons, there was always one constant:
Host Ryan Seacrest.
We're now learning that that may not be the case anymore.
ABC is looking likely to relaunch the Fox juggernaut (that ran on the network for 15 years) aiming for a March 2018 premiere. Fox is said to be in the mix still, but they declined to comment.
Now for the catch.
With Ryan Seacrest relocating to New York City to host 'Live!' with Kelly Ripa, the show is said to be standing firm of taking place in Hollywood, which would factor Ryan OUT of the deal.
There are also zero reports as to who would be judging as well. No word if any of the former judges have been offered. They would have a long line to choose from though:
Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, Kara DioGuardi, Steven Tyler, Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey and the final 2 seasons' judges Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr and Keith Urban.
