I give him a lot of credit.
Barry Manilow has never addressed his sexuality, over his illustrious career, but in the newest edition of 'PEOPLE' magazine, he finally decides to.
The 73 year old singer has come out, confirming his 3 year marriage to his manager Garry Kief (who he's been with since 1978).
Manilow also revealed the reason behind his never addressing his sexuality:
“I thought I would be disappointing them if they knew I was gay. So I never did anything,”
And then speaking of Kief, Barry had this to say:
“He’s the smartest person I’ve ever met in my life — and a great guy, too,”
Barry thanked his fans for supporting him through his coming out:
Thank you to my fans for the years of support. My story is out and I look forward to many more years of sharing my music. https://t.co/fRA9BPwqIU— Barry Manilow (@barrymanilow) April 5, 2017
