Eric Church's Battle With Scalpers: Cancels 25,000 Tickets

I kind of feel sorry for anyone who bought tickets through scalpers.....

Country singer Eric Church is continuing his battle against concert scalpers, as he has managed to cancel 25,000 tickets for his 'Holdin' My Own' tour.

The tickets in question have been placed back on the market, through Church's website and other ticketing services.

His management team used a proprietary program to weed out the tickets that were purchased scalpers instead of a loyal fan.

Speaking to the Associated Press, Eric said:

"We're getting better at identifying who the scalpers are,"

"Every artist can do this, but some of them don't. Some of them don't feel the way I feel or are as passionate."

"They buy thousands of tickets across the U.S., not just mine, and they end up making a fortune. They use fake credit cards, fake IDs. All of this is fraud."

Church has been fighting scalpers for years, just not on this grand a scale.

Let's hope some die hard fans who purchased any of these tickets are able to get other ones!!
