Robin Thicke Facing Child Abuse Allegations: Paula Patton Attempts To Limit Joint Custody

This sounds serious.

According to new reports, singer Robin Thicke is being investigated by the Department of Children and Family Services, after his 6 year old son Julian told mom Paula Patton (as well as a teacher at his school) that his father had struck him.

The report is stating that Julian initially told a teacher that his father spanked him more than once, with the school reporting it January 3. Paula filed an emergency order to restrict Robin from being alone with their son. He would only be allowed supervised visits.

Included in the document she filed, Paula claims Julian is afraid of Robin, but there's more:

A school official also filed a document, saying that Julian has said that his father frequently "punches him".

In a response document, Robin is slamming the reports saying:

“On a very rare occasion and only as a last resort, I will use light spanking, but it is consistent with the law — open hand on the butt. This is the type of discipline to which Paula and I agreed during our marriage,”

Robin is also claiming that Paula is simply reacting to not being invited to his father Alan Thicke's funeral, saying in the docs:

"Paula did not have a positive relationship with my father and often made negative comments to me about my father. As such, she was not welcome at his funeral"

While the case is still ongoing, a judge denied Paula's request.
