Best Of 2016: 'RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars 2'

Through all of the darkness that was 2016, there was a light:

'RuPaul's Drag Race' returned for its 2nd season of All Stars, and while many had issues with the team focused 1st season, this one?

OH THIS ONE.

In the iconic words of Violet Chachki:

CAME. THROUGH.

With a stellar cast of queens including Alyssa Edwards, Katya, Detox, Ginger Minj, Roxxxy Andrews, Adore Delano, Coco Montrese and eventual winner Alaska, we also saw the rebirth of season 2 queen Tatianna. And, who can forget the return of season 4 villain Phi Phi O'Hara who revealed not much had changed.

What set the show apart from its previous outing especially was the big twist, which saw RuPaul name the two BEST queens of the week, with those two lipsyncing for their legacy. The winner would then decide which of the bottom queens would go home.

This result saw some EPIC performances, including the one below (which also resulted in our favorite reaction from the season):

Seeing Tatianna soak in the fact that she won.....was a beauty.

The season didn't go without any drama though.

In only episode 2, we saw the departure of season 6 runner-up Adore Delano, who decided that being back wasn't what she really wanted and need to tap out.

How can we forget the closing challenge of the season?

Watching the final 4 perform RuPaul's new single 'Read U Wrote U' will go down in the shows hERstory as one of the most iconic moments

 Minus Roxxxy's part.....

While the season wasn't without it's bumps in the road, it delivered on ENTERTAINING ride right from the start!!

What did you guys think of the season?

Madonna Delivers Brutal Truth During Billboard Honor

UPDATED WITH FULL VIDEO:

I've previously spoken out about this, but need to say more.

Madonna was honored by Billboard as Woman of the Year at last nights event, and when she took the stage....

She delivered a speech that EVERYONE needs to hear!!

Speaking out on the ageism, sexism, and controversy surrounding her legendary career, the Queen of Pop held nothing back.

Including some tears.

If this speech ever needed to be delivered, it was now.

Thank you Madonna.

Read her entire speech below:

"I stand before you as a doormat. Oh, I mean, as a female entertainer," Madonna said. "Thank you for acknowledging my ability to continue my career for 34 years in the face of blatant sexism and misogyny and constant bullying and relentless abuse."

Recalling her life as a teenager when she first moved to New York:

"People were dying of AIDS everywhere. It wasn’t safe to be gay, it wasn’t cool to be associated with the gay community," Madonna recalled. "It was …

It's been a huge 24 hours for us 'Drag Race' fans!!!

Not only did we get another installment of 'All Stars 3' last night, but we also got the whopper of a reveal:

So, while we all take that in, yours truly is also here to talk about about last nights episode of 'All Stars 3', because it was a doozy of an episode, and there's a lot to unpack.

While the episode fell victim to being rushed (non-supersized episode), it also gave us some of the first true gags of the season. Following a somewhat underwhelming Snatch Game, Mama Ru revealed that the two winning queens (Shangela and once again Ben Delacreme) EACH won their lip sync and would each have the power to give one of the bott…

I haven't recovered.......so...bare with me.

Britney Spears took the stage at tonight's Billboard Music Awards with a career-spanning medley, and girl didn't just bring it.....

SHE DESTROYED THE STAGE!!!

Our favorite Louisiana girl brought the house down right out the gate, with a scorching performance that included 'Work Bitch', 'Womanizer' (THAT BREAKDOWN!!!),'I Love Rock N' Roll,  'Breathe On Me', 'Touch of my Hand', 'Slave 4 U' and of course, 'Toxic'.

What has to be mentioned is Brit's energy on stage. Her smile was back, she moved like the pro we all fell in love with, and it was FIRE from start to finish.

Check out the FULL performance below!!
