OF COURSE SHE CAN!
Did you SEE "The Butler"?!
While still seemingly hunting for the elusive Oscar that she was so rudely snubbed of a nomination for, Oprah Winfey is jumping right back into the acting game.
The iconic television host and media mogul has reportedly signed on to play Richard Pryor's abusive grandmother, who also happened to be a madam, in friend Lee Daniels' upcoming biopic on the late comedian.
It's been revealed that Oprah was hungry for the role of Marie Carter, who raised Richard in her brothel in Illinois. It's also said that she beat him.
Oprah is said to want to show an even grittier side than what she was in "The Butler".
Mike Epps has nabbed the leading role of Pryor.
What do you guys think of this? Can Oprah pull it off?
