This Is Just THE WORST: Avril Lavigne Debuts Video For "Hello Kitty" & Responds To Backlash


I don't even know what to say.

No wait, I do:

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO MY BELOVED "COMPLICATED" AND "SK8ER BOI" SINGER!?!?

There.

Avril Lavigne has come under fire for her brand new video "Hello Kitty", which Billboard is calling a "trainwreck" for its "Japan fetishization".

Uh, let's just stick with RACIST.

I'm really not sure what the goal of this was but it's just the WORST.

Apparently, fans of the singer thought so too though, with one tweet coming in saying:

"Not sure if this Avril Lavigne video is terrible, racist, or terribly racist,"

And another:

"I'm not sure which makes it harder to watch the new Avril video: that it's offensive and racist or just weird."

Avril sounded off on the haters though:

"RACIST??? LOLOLOL!!! I love Japanese culture and I spend half of my time in Japan. I flew to Tokyo to shoot this video...specifically for my Japanese fans, WITH my Japanese label, Japanese choreographers AND a Japanese director IN Japan."

Madonna Delivers Brutal Truth During Billboard Honor

 I've previously spoken out about this, but need to say more.

Madonna was honored by Billboard as Woman of the Year at last nights event, and when she took the stage....

She delivered a speech that EVERYONE needs to hear!!

Speaking out on the ageism, sexism, and controversy surrounding her legendary career, the Queen of Pop held nothing back.

Including some tears.

If this speech ever needed to be delivered, it was now.

Lady Gaga Announces Las Vegas Residency "ENIGMA"

Mother Monster is gearing up to show us her TRUE "Poker Face"!!

Lady Gaga is leaving "Joanne" behind and moving on to the next chapter of her career, with the announcement of "ENIGMA", a Las Vegas residency kicking off this December.

Along with the announcement, Gaga also revealed that there is actually a second show, which will be a jazz & piano act. She'll be performing all of her biggest hits in "ENIGMA", while slowing things down and re-working her hits for "Lady Gaga: Jazz & Piano".

The residency (of 27 performances) kicks off December 28th.
